I am a conservation paleontologist interested in: 1) how ecological and evolutionary processes drive community assemblage patterns and what we can learn from traits in the fossil record to inform modern conservation and management, and 2) informal STEM education as a tool for increasing public understanding of science.

I am an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biology (PRFB) and am co-hosted by Michelle Lawing at Texas A&M University and Jenny McGuire at Georgia Institute of Technology. I am also a Visiting Scholar hosted by Dr. Greg Heiberger at South Dakota State University.
